Summary

I was a Jr Designer during my time on this project, joining the Campaign Team again after working on Warzone for a few months. My work on the project included owning the development of an in-game cinematic, working with different departments to develop it to shipping quality.

 

I also owned the Level Design, Combat Encounter Design, and Scripting of the Japanese Camp Combat. Ultimately I owned everything from when Wade is captured, to when we kill the sniper on the treetop.

  • Ideated, iterated and implemented in-game Cutscene (93rd Wade Rescue) that transitions into Combat Encounter

  • Paper designed, built, and iterated on Japanese Camp Combat Encounter

  • Scripted "Walk and Talk" section that occurs immediately after the Japanese Camp Combat

  • Worked with Narrative team on implementation of the dialogue for the section of the mission I worked on

  • Helped VFX team implement their work

  • Built upon work done by another designer, and shipped "Sniper Sneak" section

  • Collaborated with other departments to ensure we shipped an engaging encounter

  • Scripted custom "Near Miss" system for Sniper Sneak area

  • Worked with engineering on making the flamethrower for one of our allies functional during the mission
